I obtained my Bachelor’s degree (Highest Distinction) in Computer Science from the National University of Singapore (NUS). I am broadly interested in building more efficient and performant data and ML systems with a practical impact on the users.

I have been working with the amazing Prof. Kian Lee Tan at NUS, working on optimizing query processing in data systems. Also, I am very fortunate to collaborate with Lily Liu, Tyler Griggs and Prof. Alvin Cheung at UC Berkeley on the cost-efficiency aspect of machine learning systems. Previously, I was fortunate to be advised by Prof. Richard Ma on the topics of data stream processing systems.

[NEW] Awarded the Singapore National Science Scholarship (PhD) with full funding of 5 years for my PhD studies!

[NEW] Check out the preprint of our work “Mélange: Cost Efficient Large Language Model Serving by Exploiting GPU Heterogeneity”. Here are the Code and Blog.
